Last time i checked the kid was a high school student, not a soccer player. Sports aren't a right they're a privilege, and being able to determine standards for your own children and regarding whether a privilege is in fact earned or not, is a basic right of parenting and should not be disregarded so easily. Too personally? that's just a ridiculous statement, to make about a parent's concern for their child. Attack his over-temper and execution, but not his intentions to hold his son to a higher standard.
