It's only Week 3, so it's too early to call any game a "must-win game." Having said that, there are some teams that really need to win this week to avoid a disastrous start.
Here are my Week 3 Picks...
New England 34, Buffalo 21: I think Buffalo is one of the great stories so far this season. They will put up a fight, but in the end, Brady and company will light them up like everybody else.
Cincinnati 21, San Francisco 20: Jim Harbaugh is about to learn what Mike Singletary already knows—Alex Smith isn't that good! Andy Dalton and AJ Green will be just enough to win at home.
Detroit 27, Minnesota 6: Minnesota probably already regrets signing Donovan McNabb. I think Christian Ponder will be the starting QB in Minny before Week 8.
Tennessee 24, Denver 14: Denver is another team that is just really bad. Chris Johnson will shake the rust off this week and help the Titans run past the Broncos.
Philly 30, New York 17: Vick will start, and he will play well. Eli will start, and he will not. I think the Eagles are worthy of the hype, and playing at home for the first time this season, they won't disappoint.
Houston 35, New Orleans 34: This will be the game of the week. Is it just me, or do the Texans look like they are starting to believe? This one will be fun to watch.
Jacksonville 17, Carolina 14: It's the battle of the rookie QB's! Cam Newton has been on fire for two straight weeks. Look for him to have his first hiccup at home, and the Jags will steal a win.
Oakland 27, Jets 24: This is my upset pick of the week. I like what I'm seeing out of the Raiders. The Chiefs and Broncos both suck. The Jags, Colts, Dolphins, Bills, etc all have QB issues. This is a year the Raiders could sneak into the playoff conversation. Winning this game would be a nice start.
Baltimore 24, St. Louis 17: The Ravens just don't look good right now. It's a good thing they are playing the Rams. Sam Bradford is going to be a stud, but the Rams won't win until they put some play makers around him.
Green Bay 35, Chicago 21: Jay Cutlers' stat line will probably look something like this...22-of-38, 288 yards, two TD, three INT, six sacks, nine knockdowns and 10 hurries. He should call up Kurt Warner and Marc Bulger and ask for survival tips playing for Mike Martz. The Pack rolls in this one.
Sand Diego 31, KC 10: The Kansas City Chiefs are now on the clock...
Arizona 24, Seattle 13: The Cardinals will have a choke hold on the Western Division after beating Seattle. After this weekend, the Rams, Niners and Seahawks will be a combined 0-9. Ouch.
Pittsburgh 30, Indy 13: I think the Colts will win some games this season, and we might even see Peyton Manning take the field. But Pittsburgh is going to put it to them in Week 3.
Atlanta 27, Tampa Bay 24: This is another game to watch this weekend. Two good, young QB's square off, with Matty Ice being just a little bit better than Josh Freeman in the fourth quarter.
Dallas 24, Washington 20: This is the Monday Night Football Game, and I think the Redskins will compete hard before losing on the road. The Cowboys look like another team that is starting to figure it out. They have battled adversity, injuries and inconsistent play. After all that, they are poised to start the season 2-1.

I think Cam Newton will come back down to Earth this week.
